Tech stocks are particularly appealing to investors looking for both growth and stability. In this piece, we highlight three tech companies — IBM, HP, and Corning — that have consistently raised their dividends for several years and offer attractive yields.

IBM

IBM (NYSE:IBM) primarily sells software, IT services, consulting, and hardware. IBM operates in 175 countries and employs approximately 350,000 people. The company has a robust roster of 80,000 business partners to service 5,200 clients, including 95% of all Fortune 500.

IBM has paid consecutive quarterly dividends since 1916 and raised them for 29 years. In April, the company announced a quarterly dividend raise to $1.67 from $1.66. This equates to $6.68 annually. The dividend yield is 3.76%.

Over the past year, the company has generated revenues of $62.06 billion and net income of $8.18 billion.

HP

HP Inc. (NYSE:HPQ) is a behemoth in the PC and printing markets. It has focused on these markets since exiting IT infrastructure in 2015 with the split from Hewlett Packard Enterprise. HP focuses on the commercial market but maintains sales of consumer devices and printers. The firm has a broad global customer base, with only one-third of sales coming from the U.S.

HP has raised its dividends for seven consecutive years. Most recently, in October 2023, the company hiked its quarterly dividend by 5% to $0.2756, or $1.1024 annualized, with an annual yield of 3.12%.

Over the past year, the company has generated revenues of $52.99 billion and net income of $2.96 billion.

Corning

Corning (NYSE:GLW) is a leader in materials science, specializing in producing glass, ceramics, and optical fiber. The firm supplies its products for various applications, from flat-panel displays in televisions to gasoline particulate filters in automobiles to optical fiber for broadband access, with a leading share in many of its end markets.

The company has maintained dividend payments for 18 consecutive years and hiked them consistently for 13 years. It pays a quarterly dividend of $0.28 per share, or $1.12 annualized. Currently, the dividend yield is 2.60%.

Over the past year, the company has generated revenues of $12.38 billion and net income of $614 million.
