Because so many folks call me and throw around Social Security vocabulary words, I thought this article would be a lesson in terminology.

Social Security benefits are available as early as age 62, but in turn are reduced by 25% to 30% due to filing prior to your Full Retirement Age. You earn an extra 8% per year in Delayed Retirement Credits for every year you wait to claim benefits.
