Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Thursday at 11:11AM

Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 4.99%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 3.48%), Aries Agro(up 2.93%), Madras Fertlizers(up 1.83%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 0.93%), Rama Phosphates(up 0.41%) and KRISHANA(up 0.13%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries(down 3.84%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.80%), G S F C(down 1.52%), ZUARIAGRO(down 1.01%),

& Petrochemicals(down 0.89%), Fertilizers (down 0.82%), & Chemicals(down 0.74%), Coromandel International(down 0.47%), & Fertilizers(down 0.40%) and Agro Phos(down 0.39%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 7.65 points down at 17864.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 27.25 points at 60691.04 at around 11:11AM.

Bajaj Finance(up 1.96%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.69%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.57%), Grasim Industries(up 1.43%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.06%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 0.94%), SBI Life(up 0.93%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.87%), Hindalco Industries(up 0.86%) and Asian Paints(up 0.81%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises(down 8.88%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 3.68%), Hero MotoCorp(down 1.67%), Bharti Airtel(down 1.21%), Tata Motors(down 0.98%), UPL Ltd(down 0.98%), Axis Bank(down 0.85%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.82%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.66%) and Cipla(down 0.58%) were trading in the red.
