Boeing, Dow Inc. share losses lead Dow's 137-point fall

Behind losses for shares of Boeing and Dow Inc., the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Thursday morning. Shares of Boeing

and Dow Inc.

are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow

was most recently trading 137 points, or 0.4%, lower. Boeing’s shares have dropped $4.83, or 3.0%, while those of Dow Inc. have dropped $1.25, or 2.5%, combining for a roughly 40-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Chevron

and Caterpillar
A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.59-point swing.
