Dow's 239-point fall led by losses in shares of Walt Disney, Apple Inc.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Thursday morning with shares of Walt Disney and Apple Inc. facing the biggest setback for the price-weighted average. The Dow DJIA, -0.31% was most recently trading 239 points, or 0.8%, lower, as shares of Walt Disney DIS, -0.82% and Apple Inc. AAPL, -1.08% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline. Walt Disney’s shares have fallen $3.95, or 3.8%, while those of Apple Inc. have dropped $4.96 (3.4%), combining for an approximately 59-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Boeing BA, -2.15%, American Express AXP, -2.26%, and Salesforce Inc. CRM, +1.30%. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
