Dow's 125-point drop led by losses in Apple Inc., Microsoft shares

Shares of Apple Inc. and Microsoft are seeing declines Wednesday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of Apple Inc. AAPL, -5.18% and Microsoft MSFT, -3.32% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -1.02% was most recently trading 127 points, or 0.4%, lower. Apple Inc.’s shares have dropped $7.49 (4.9%) while those of Microsoft have dropped $7.71 (2.9%), combining for an approximately 100-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Salesforce Inc. CRM, -3.52%, Intel INTC, -2.68%, and Walt Disney DIS, -2.31%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.59-point swing.
