Salesforce Inc., Nike share losses contribute to Dow's 1325-point drop

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is slumping Thursday afternoon with shares of Salesforce Inc. and Nike seeing the biggest drops for the price-weighted average. Shares of Salesforce Inc. CRM, -7.37% and Nike NKE, -6.12% are contributing to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -3.31% was most recently trading 1,328 points, or 3.9%, lower. Salesforce Inc.’s shares are down $15.18, or 8.2%, while those of Nike have declined $8.74, or 6.9%, combining for a roughly 158-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Apple Inc. AAPL, -5.81%, Home Depot HD, -5.39%, and Visa V, -4.45%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.59-point swing.
