Dow up 150 points on gains for Honeywell International Inc., Home Depot shares

Shares of Honeywell International Inc. and Home Depot are trading higher Monday morning, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. Shares of Honeywell International Inc. HON, +2.88% and Home Depot HD, +1.87% have contributed around 25% of the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.14% was most recently trading 151 points, or 0.5%, higher. Honeywell International Inc.’s shares have gained $6.91 (3.6%) while those of Home Depot have gained $6.40, or 2.1%, combining for an approximately 88-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include 3M MMM, +1.98%, Intel INTC, +0.93%, and Cisco CSCO, +1.29%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index results in a 6.59-point swing.
